1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how SodCode handles information when you use version 1.0.0 of the PrintQuote 3D Android app.
This policy applies to the app, not to Android, Google Play, Google Mobile Ads, Firebase, a print service, or a sharing destination. For information about the SodCode website, see our website privacy policy.
2. Privacy at a glance
- PrintQuote 3D does not require an account and does not provide cloud synchronization.
- Cost calculations, settings, printer and material profiles, saved calculations, and customer quotes are stored in app-private storage on your device.
- Quote PDFs are generated locally. Quote information leaves the app only when you choose to save, share, or print a PDF through another app or service.
- The app may show non-personalized banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded interstitial ads supplied by Google Mobile Ads. Google’s consent tools are used where required.
- The current analytics implementation sends no analytics events, and the app does not include developer-operated crash reporting.
3. Information you enter and process locally
Depending on the features you use, the app can process:
- App settings, including currency, theme, default electricity and labor rates, failure allowance, markup, quote notes, and whether a cost breakdown is included.
- Material profiles, including a name, type, optional brand and color, spool weight, spool price, and currency.
- Printer profiles, including a name, average power, machine cost per hour, and optional purchase price and expected lifetime.
- Calculation inputs and results, including project name, notes, material usage, print time, quantity, electricity, machine and labor costs, extras, failure allowance, seller or payment fees, profit or margin, tax, and calculated prices.
- Customer quotes, including quote and project names, an optional customer name, quantity, unit price, discount, total, notes, validity date, currency, and optional cost breakdown.
These details are used to perform calculations, display history, reuse profiles, build quotes, and create PDFs. PrintQuote 3D does not upload this content to SodCode, Firebase, or Google Mobile Ads.
4. On-device storage, retention, and deletion
Settings, profiles, calculations, and quotes remain in the app’s private local database until you delete an available item, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. The app does not set a fixed expiry period for records you choose to keep.
The app also caches the most recent valid advertising configuration and Google’s advertising and consent SDKs may store consent and ad-delivery information on the device. Depending on your Android, device-manufacturer, and backup settings, eligible app-private data may be included in a device or cloud backup controlled by the operating-system or backup provider.
Clearing app data or uninstalling removes the app’s local copy, subject to any device backup. It does not remove PDFs already saved outside the app or copies already sent to another person, app, printer, or service.
5. PDF creation, saving, sharing, and printing
PrintQuote 3D creates quote PDFs on your device. A PDF can contain the quote title, project and optional customer name, dates, quantity, prices, discount, notes, and—if selected—a cost breakdown. When you choose Save PDF, the app writes a copy to its application documents location. When you choose Share or Print, the app passes the generated PDF to Android’s sharing interface, a selected app, or a print service.
The receiving app, email or messaging provider, cloud-storage provider, print service, printer, or recipient processes the PDF under its own terms and privacy policy. Review the PDF and destination before sending it, especially when it contains a customer name or commercial pricing.
6. Advertising, consent, and rewards
PrintQuote 3D may display banner ads and an interstitial after a completed action such as saving a calculation. On a completed result, the app may also offer an optional rewarded interstitial. If you choose to watch it and earn the reward, banner and full-screen ads are hidden until you close the app. Declining or skipping the offer does not restrict calculations, profiles, quotes, saving, sharing, or printing.
Ad requests are marked as non-personalized and the maximum ad content rating is set to G. Non-personalized ads are not selected from your past behavior, but Google may still process app and device details, your IP address, the Android advertising ID or other identifiers, ad interactions, consent status, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, frequency limits, fraud prevention, and aggregated reporting.
The app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request or update consent information before requesting ads where required. If Google indicates that a privacy-options entry point is required, the app displays an Ad privacy choices item in Settings so you can review or change those choices.
7. Firebase advertising configuration
The app periodically reads a small public Firebase Realtime Database record containing only the publisher’s AdMob enabled switch, test-or-live mode, banner, interstitial and rewarded-interstitial ad unit IDs, and an update timestamp. A valid copy is cached locally so the app can start with the last known settings.
The configuration request does not contain your profiles, calculations, project names, notes, customer names, quotes, PDFs, or prices. Like an ordinary network request, it can expose technical connection data such as an IP address and user-agent information to the service provider.
8. Analytics and diagnostics
The current release has a local no-op analytics abstraction: named events such as app open, calculation saved, or quote exported are not transmitted anywhere. PrintQuote 3D does not include Firebase Analytics, a developer-operated analytics service, or developer-operated crash reporting. Google Mobile Ads and services you deliberately invoke may process their own advertising or operational diagnostics as described by their policies.
9. Permissions and device access
The Android app declares internet access and advertising-ID access for Firebase configuration, consent, and advertising. It does not request broad storage, contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone permission.
PDF generation may read compatible fonts supplied by Android to render text. It does not scan your personal documents or media. Save, share, and print actions use app storage and Android interfaces provided for those actions.
11. Information you send to support
If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, such as the app version, Android version, issue description, screenshots, or attachments. We use it to respond, investigate the request, protect the app, and meet legal obligations. Do not send customer names, quote PDFs, pricing, or other confidential information unless it is needed for your request and you are comfortable sharing it.
12. Your choices and rights
You decide what information to enter, which records to save or delete, whether to create or send a PDF, whether to accept a rewarded ad offer, and whether to contact us. You can use the in-app Ad privacy choices item when Google requires it, reset or limit the Android advertising ID where your device supports that option, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of personal information. Because there is no app account and local quote data is not sent to us, we may hold little or no app information that can be matched to you. Contact us about information you deliberately sent through support.
13. Children’s privacy
PrintQuote 3D is a general business and productivity utility and is not directed to children under 13. It does not ask users to create an account or submit personal information, but the advertising and consent services described above may process device and ad-delivery information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through support, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
14. Security
PrintQuote 3D uses app-private storage for its local database and HTTPS connections for advertising, consent, and Firebase configuration. However, no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect access to your device, review PDFs before sending them, choose sharing destinations carefully, and keep independent copies of important business records.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when PrintQuote 3D, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or its store listing where appropriate.
